Your information and The Frey Method

Eloise Frey is responsible for the personal information collected through eloisefrey.com and The Frey Method. For privacy questions or requests, email thefreymethod@gmail.com.

What I collect and why

If you contact me, I use your name, contact details and the information you choose to share to respond and discuss support. If you book a chat, your booking details are used to arrange the meeting. Please do not put confidential health information in website enquiries or public comments. Any information needed for coaching is requested separately through the client intake process.

If you request The Stack or subscribe to breathing tips and coaching updates, I use your email address and subscription preferences to deliver the content you requested. The sign-up form explains the emails you are choosing. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.

If you purchase coaching or a book, the relevant checkout provider processes your payment. I use order and payment confirmation details to provide your purchase, support you and keep business records. I do not receive your full card number.

The website and its providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, page visits and security logs to operate, protect and understand use of the site. Optional tracking is described below.

The reasons for using your information

I use information to take steps you request before working together and to provide an agreed service. Email marketing is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Responding to enquiries, preventing misuse and maintaining appropriate business records may also rely on legitimate interests or legal obligations. Where coaching requires sensitive information, I explain the purpose and applicable permission separately.

Services that help me run the business

The services you choose to use may include Hostinger and WordPress for the website; MailerLite for email sign-ups and delivery; Calendly and Google Meet for bookings and calls; WhatsApp for conversations; Stripe for coaching payments; Gumroad for guide and book downloads; and Everfit for coaching support. Amazon handles purchases made through its own book listing. These providers receive the information needed for their part of the service and have their own privacy notices. I do not sell your personal information.

Some providers operate internationally and may process information outside your country. Their privacy notices describe their locations, protections and transfer arrangements. External links and purchases take you to the relevant provider’s service.

How long I keep information

I review enquiries from people who do not become clients after six months and delete information that is no longer needed. Client, purchase and accounting records are kept for the period needed to provide support and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Email subscription information is kept while you remain subscribed; limited unsubscribe records may be retained so your preference can be respected. Technical and security records are retained only as needed for their purpose.

Cookies and third-party services

You can change your cookie preferences here:

Necessary cookies support website operation, security and saved preferences. Additional services can use cookies or similar technology for visitor statistics or advertising. Where a cookie preference panel is available, you can use it to accept or refuse optional categories and change your choice later. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings.

Google Analytics is used for visitor statistics. AdSense automatic advertising and the Meta website pixel have been switched off. Google’s use of information and available controls are explained in Google’s partner-site privacy information. A booking calendar loads when you open the booking window. Instagram cards link to my Instagram page rather than playing an embedded feed. Visiting an external service allows that service to process information under its own privacy notice.

If you leave a blog comment, WordPress processes the comment, name, email and technical details used to prevent spam. Published comments are visible to other visitors. An email-derived identifier may be used by Gravatar to display an avatar, as explained in Automattic’s privacy notice. Administrator login cookies are used for authorised website management.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You may also ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy where those rights apply. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing. Some records may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons. Email me with your request and I will explain what applies.

You can raise a concern with your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or South Africa’s Information Regulator.

Updates

I update this notice when the way the business uses information changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
