About Me

I’m a Functional Breath Coach, movement specialist, and creator of The Frey Method™ a breath and movement system designed specifically for women.
I work with women navigating postpartum recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, perimenopause, and athletic performance. My approach is simple: when your breathing mechanics are right, everything else in your body works better.

I spent 22 years in the UK and Australia before coming home to South Africa to the mountains of Noordhoek, where I trail run, train CrossFit, and practise martial arts. I’m a mum of two boys. I’ve been a hairdresser, a yoga teacher, a personal trainer.

But the work I do now came from my own body breaking down. After having kids, my core stopped working the way it used to. I got Graves Disease. I was doing everything ‘right’ and still felt broken. Nobody connected the dots between my breathing and everything else that was going wrong.

When I discovered functional breathing through the Oxygen Advantage® method, everything changed. I realised breath wasn’t a wellness add-on. It was the foundation everything else was built on and connected the dots.

So I built The Frey Method™. For every woman who’s been told to ‘just do your kegels.’ For every athlete whose performance has plateaued. For every woman in perimenopause who feels like a stranger in her own body.
